Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SmartThread ("the App"), a monday.com marketplace application that uses AI similarity matching to group related tickets into trackable "issues." By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
1. The service
The App detects similar and recurring tickets on your monday.com boards, groups them into issues, mirrors ticket details, and keeps counts and statuses in sync. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must have a valid monday.com account and the necessary permissions to install apps and grant the access the App requires. You are responsible for activity under your account in connection with the App.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, circumventing access controls, processing data you are not authorised to access, or using it in violation of monday.com's terms or applicable law.
4. Your data
You retain ownership of your monday.com data. The App processes that data only to provide its features, as described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. You are responsible for the content of the tickets and boards the App processes.
5. Third-party services
The App relies on third-party services including monday.com, OpenAI, Supabase, and Vercel. Your use is also subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for outages or changes in third-party services.
6. Fees & billing
Paid plans are billed through monday.com's marketplace using monday's seat-based pricing, including any free trial. Billing, renewals, and refunds are handled by monday.com under their terms. Pricing may change for future versions.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. AI-based matching is probabilistic and may produce inaccurate or incomplete suggestions; you are responsible for reviewing groupings before relying on them.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the App. Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Upon uninstall or request, associated tokens, configuration, and embeddings are deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App provider operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
